MEET THE TEAM

How it all started...

In 2018, a group of pickleball advocates proposed a plan to convert two of the Centennial Park tennis courts into six dedicated pickleball courts. After careful deliberation, the city allocated funding for four outdoor courts at the Robron Sports Complex, marking a major step forward for the sport in the community.

In January 2021, the Campbell River Pickleball Association (CRPA) was officially registered, providing a structure to support the community and promote the sport.

Today, the Campbell River Pickleball Association continues to thrive, offering programs, leagues, and social events for players of all skill levels. The sport remains a vibrant and growing part of the community, with new players joining regularly and the association looking forward to future expansions and opportunities for the sport in Campbell River.

Our board members are selected from the local community or our membership, based on their interest in our work and the diverse perspectives and skills they bring. Board members are elected and serve a minimum term of two years. If you're interested in learning more or would like to get involved, please feel free to contact us.
