💘 Invitation for a Special Valentine’s Pickleball Play Day! 💘

📅 When: Saturday, February 14

📍 Where: Campbell River Sportsplex — 6 indoor courts

🥇 Session 1: Valentine’s Couples ⏰ 9:00–10:30 AM

We invite 12 couples to compete for the title of Valentine’s Couple of the Pickleball Court! A couple is defined as two people who are married, engaged, or otherwise romantically associated. Please note: two friends may not play together in this session.

👫 Session 2: Valentine’s Best Friends ⏰ 10:30 AM–12:00 PM

We invite 12 pairs of best friends (one male and one female) to compete for the title of Valentine’s Best Friends of the Pickleball Court.

🏓 Format: King’s Court

Each session begins as a standard round-robin with teams randomly assigned to courts.

• Court 1 is the Valentine’s Court (Couples or Best Friends)

• Games are 12 minutes timed

• The team with the highest score at the buzzer wins

• Winners move up one court, losers move down

• Teams face new opponents each round

Your goal: reach the Valentine’s Court and hold it until the end of the 1.5-hour session!

Event Details

• Cost: $20 per team (includes awards and prizes for the winning team)

• Level: All levels welcome; teammates may be from different levels

• Eye protection: Mandatory

• All participants must be CRPA members in good standing with current 2026 dues

paid

• Members are kindly asked to register for only one session
