Board Resignations and Appointments
The CRPA announces that Maretta Den Ouden and Sally McCrindle have resigned from the Board of Directors, effective May 21, 2026.
On behalf of the Board, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to Maretta and Sally for their dedicated service, valuable insights, and steadfast commitment to our organization throughout their tenure. Their contributions have been greatly appreciated and have had a meaningful impact on the CRPA.
We thank them both for their time and leadership, and we wish them the absolute best in their future endeavors.
As permitted under our bylaws, Elaine Thompson and Heiner Schwarz will assume the respective roles of Secretary/Director of Communications and Director of Memberships.
Our bylaws permit the Board to appoint directors without the need for an election. Both Elaine and Heiner were nominated at our AGM and have expressed their willingness to serve in these roles. Other candidates who were approached indicated that they would only be interested should either Elaine or Heiner decline the appointments.
