Alcohol and intoxication on ANY pickleball court in Campbell River
Today I had the opportunity of playing pickleball at Robron.
Unfortunately, we had two individuals walk onto the court sidelines who were clearly inebriated, passing beer cans between themselves.
Just a reminder that alcohol consumption or being under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not allowed on any pickleball court in Campbell River. These individuals were not members of the CRPA. They were told to leave immediately.

If you are a member of the CRPA, and you are playing on any court, whether it be public or private, our insurance policy covers us as members, but you should also be mindful and protect our group by informing anyone who enters any court area obviously inebriated or drinking alcohol that they need to “leave the court area immediately” before play continues as they could potentially get injured from a flying ball, or other…..asking them to leave absolves us from any liability.
