Summer Ladders at Pacific Playgrounds. 

Each session runs for 3 consecutive Tuesdays from 10 to noon. There will be 4 distinct sessions during the summer, giving us a perfect opportunity to try out these spectacular courts.  Open to all skill levels.  Format will be the same as last year'sTuesday ladders at the sportsplex.  (Just an FYI, at other clubs this format is called King and Queen of the courts)

You will be assigned a court to start in.  Games are 12 minutes long.  If you and your partner win, you both move up;  if you lose,  you both move down.  Once in the new court, you and your partner split up and you do it all over again.  At the end of the 2 hour session, record where you left off and try to climb the ladder again next week.   If you are away for any reason you will need to find a sub for yourself, preferably at a comparable skill level .  There will be no extra person to be the timer so it is imperative that the exact number of people show up, otherwise this format does not work.  cost is 22.50 per person per session, which works out to 7.50 per two hour slot.

session 1:  June 23, 30, July 7

session 2:  July 14, 28, Aug4  (the court is being used by the visiting coach from Baja on the 21st)

session 3:  Aug 11, 18, 25

session 4:  Sep 1, 8, 15

Major League Pickleball at Pacific Playgrounds: 

We need 4 teams of 4 people each- 2 ladies and 2 men per team. Each team plays the other teams once over the course of 3 weeks on Thursdays from 10-noon at pacific playgrounds using rally scoring.    Pick your team of four and register under a team name.  Players may be from other locations as long as they are members of CRPA.  Each session includes 2 ladies games, 2 mens games, 4 mixed games and if there is time, one singles match where each player  plays for only three turns.  One point is alloted for each team win. This is a ton of fun - trying to win for your team is more pressure but also more exciting.   Cost is $90  per team per session, which works out to $7.50 per 2 hour slot per person.  Pick your team and register.  If you cannot make a particular date, find an alternate player  of similar skill.

session A- high intermediate level:  June 25, July 2, July 9  .......... 4 teams needed

session B - low intermediate:  July 23, 30, Aug 6 ...................   4 teams needed

session C - advanced:   Aug 13, 20, 27 ......................4 teams needed

If this is really popular, we can add additional days. 

Please consider supporting the newest pickleball facility and giving this a try.  Your team can carpool to pacific playgrounds which is about 15 minutes south of town.  Afterwards, there is a lounge area to relax and have a drink.  You can also go for a walk along the river or the beach or spend the whole day just chilling afterwards.
