This is just what I use . Indoors the ball of choice for most rec play and tournaments here on the island is the ONIX fuse , so when I play outdoors which only happens rarely due to how the Sun and Heat affects me , I use the ONIX fuse G-2 as it reacts and feels just like the indoor ONIX fuse . The G-2 is rated for 4.5 players and below because it is just a little slower ball and lasts allot longer before going soft and needs replacing but it rarely breaks . On the other hand the FRANKLIN X-40 and the ONIX Dura Fast 40 plays allot faster and it is what most outdoor 4.75 + and most tournament players used and in many cases still use before all the sponsor money was paid by other ball makers to use theirs balls in tournaments . The downside to these two balls and others like them is that they break very quickly especially on colder days , where the G-2 does not .
