At the last board meeting we discussed the issue of the availability of balls and the large quantity of balls we’ve been going through.

To address your question re the insufficient number of balls, in late 2025 there was a supply issue with the orange balls, we were just not able to get them and when I finally found an alternate supplier and placed an order, weeks went by and they were still not delivered.  During this time we had essentially completely run out of balls.  Eventually in early January our regular supplier finally replenished their stock and I was able to cancel the other order with the alternate supplier and get a batch from our regular source.   We buy balls in bulk, 100 at a time.  We are not quite through a month and already I’ve handed out 83 of those 100.  I’ve ordered and received another 100.   

To address your comment regarding the club running out of money, please know that your board is managing the club’s finances as prudently as possible.   Having said that, it also important to note that the last two orders of balls cost the club $425 per each lot of 100.   We try to manage the session fees as close as possible to the actual cost for the gym rentals, so any surplus of a few dollars here and there does not cover the cost of the balls.  They are being paid for out of the club’s general account.

I have been providing balls to the session leads as they’ve asked for them (ie 83 over the past 4 weeks).  We don’t have a new sessions that we didn’t have last month so all the leads should still have a bin of balls to draw from.
