A Message from the City….
Good morning, CR Pickleballers,
It has come to my attention that Pickleball players using the Robron courts have been parking in the Christian Life Fellowship church and daycare parking lot. The parking lot at this property is private, and it is in use seven days per week. Pickleballers have been observed entering the one-way parking lot through the exit, leaving their cars there and walking in to the courts.
Can you please make your membership aware, as soon as possible, that this parking lot is for the use of daycare and church attendees, and there is no public parking available there?
The Robron Park parking lot at Merecroft Road is rarely full: please ask your players to park either in this lot, or in the parking lot off Birch Street South. For your convenience I have attached an aerial photo showing the relevant areas: the red outline shows the Christian Life Fellowship and Christian Life Children’s Center parking, which is not available for park users. The pink outlines show the parking lots that are available for your members.
I understand that some of the people using the daycare lot may not be in your membership, but I believe the majority of people coming to play at Robron are: the parking issue is happening during the hours that CR Pickleball has the courts booked.
