letters from city council
I also got two replies from city council- one acknowledging receipt of my letter and one saying that they discussed pickleball at the council meeting on the 24th of March. I would encourage anyone who has not written yet to do so. Talk about what pickleball means to you and how frustrated you are. The more voices we have in this choir the better. We apparently don't whine enough, unlike some other sports.
Shari and I have been talking about doing a mock sign up to see what our actual demand is for various sessions. We don't really have a good idea of how many people would play or how many times per week if there were no space constraints. If we had these numbers we would have more ammunition to make our case. You would sign up on sign up genius but there would be no money exchanged and there would be no limit on the number of players in an effort to see the real demand. Look out for this in the near future and please plan to attend the AGM.
